The reversing cooling bed is generally located in the billet-out stage. Through reasonable tooth-shaped cooperation, after being conveyed by the reversing cooling bed, the casting billets are each continuously turned 90° to ensure uniform cooling of the casting billet and all-round straightening effect.
The horizontal movement of the overturning cooling bed finally pushes the billet at the end of the cooling bed to the billet storage rack.
There are two sets of independent rack systems, one set of fixed racks and the other set of horizontal and vertical moving racks. The rack is made of heavy steel plate with special shape, so it can smoothly convey and turn the billet. The fixed rack is installed on the column structure on the concrete foundation. The mobiles rack is mounted on the load-bearing support frame structure through the cross beam.
Rack movement is driven by hydraulic cylinders, two cylinders move horizontally, and two cylinders move vertically.
